Milad Alami, was born in Iran 1982, grew up in Sweden and now lives in Denmark. He graduated from The National Film School of Denmark in 2011. His films has been selected to numerous film festivals around the world, amongst other New York Film Festival, Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival and Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. His graduation film, “Nothing Can Touch Me” was selected to over 40 international film festivals and won 10 awards. Milad was granted “special mention” at the Nordic Talents in 2011 and has several times been acknowledged as a “director ot watch”. He just finished a 30 minute short film, “MINI”, a co-production between Sweden and Denmark, shoot in the north of Sweden. Milad is currently working on two feature films, one in Sweden and one in Denmark, both granted support from The Danish Film Institute, The Swedish Film Institute and The Swedish Arts Grants Committee.
